This is my “blank page to best seller” process where I walk you through writing your thought leadership book, whether it’s a business book, a memoir, or somewhere in between. It includes:
PHASE 1: Build
• You’ll start with the Jumpstart Your Book in 15 Days email course. Each day you’ll receive prompts and exercises that will create the foundation of your book. At the end of 15 days, you’ll have a working outline filled with chapter titles and subtitles. You’ll also be clear on your ideal reader avatar, the problem your book solves, your core message, the transformation your book provides for you and the reader, and more.
• BONUS 1: Once you have the foundation, we’ll meet for a 60-minute HOT Topic session where I’ll research other titles similar to your topic, to make sure there’s demand and you write your book with the intention of making sales. (value: $497)
• BONUS 2: We’ll meet for a 60-minute training on how to use AI to help write your book in a way that keeps you in charge and in integrity.
PHASE 2: Write
• You’ll then continue with my Just Do It Write Now process to write your book. As you write, you’ll submit 2 chapters at a time, so you never get too far in without critical feedback. During this process you’ll receive 2-4 rounds of editing:
~Developmental Editing, during the writing phase of your book. This is where we develop the content, voice, tone and consistency of message. Basically it’s about making your writing stronger.
~Content Editing, this is a second go-around on your chapters where I’ll look again at your writing to make sure you stay on course with all of the above.
~Line editing, this is the refinement stage, where I focus on grammar, sentence structure, and the finer points of writing.
PHASE 3: Publish
Once your manuscript is complete we proceed with the following:
• Page formatting in Word or InDesign, depending on the nature of your book.
• Basic front cover design to use for your paperback/hardback and for your ebook (or supply your own)
• Cover spread design, using your front cover art. This is sized to the number of pages of your formatted manuscript, and includes back cover copy, which you’ll be able to add to and use for your Amazon description.
• Epub conversion for Kindle.
• Publishing on Amazon in paperback and Kindle, with these bonuses…
• BONUS 3: Before uploading your book we’ll meet again for another 60-minute session to research and choose 7 keywords and 2 categories that are aligned with your book and will help you to make sales and reach best-seller status.
Phase 4: Promote
• Best-seller campaign: There is no guarantee that any book will become a best-seller but I will provide my best practices and strategies to take your book to best sell status.
BONUS 4: If you decide to do a best-seller campaign, we’ll revisit your categories and keywords. This requires a bit of a different focus from our previous sessions because you’ll want to rank as high as you can in as many categories as you can.
BONUS 5: I’ll promote your book to my list of 3300, in a dedicated email campaign.
Live Support: We’ll meet live on Zoom either weekly or bi-weekly to discuss your progress and to make sure your book is one you are proud of! You will also be able to email/message me as needed.
This is a 6-month process, but I will extend if circumstance requires it. It really depends on how fast you want to move, and when your book published. Rush jobs will incur additional charges. A common pace is to write one or two chapters per week,
This is a non-refundable investment. While I will do everything in my power to make sure you publish your book in a timely manner, it depends on you doing the work.
